A lifelong reader and student of history, Ron Andrea graduated from Southwestern College, Winfield, Kansas, and entered the United States Air Force in 1968. During his thirty years of military service, he served in the Vietnam and Gulf Wars, rose to the rank oMoreA lifelong reader and student of history, Ron Andrea graduated from Southwestern College, Winfield, Kansas, and entered the United States Air Force in 1968. During his thirty years of military service, he served in the Vietnam and Gulf Wars, rose to the rank of colonel, commanding three different USAF Logistics Groups, and retired as Deputy Director of Logistics for USAF Space Command. He has visited or lived in all fifty United States and lived in five countries (visiting another thirty). He now resides in rural Hanover County, Virginia, immersed in American colonial, War of Independence, and Civil War historic sites.

He writes historical and speculative fiction and Bible studies.

He paints and teaches watercolor painting.
